Steve Down

Steve Down is a man with a cause. Many causes, in fact. His companies are a force for good, as Steve has an unwavering commitment to building businesses that change our lives and communities for the better.

Steve is an entrepreneur, cause capitalist and cause leader. A preeminent role model for 21st century business leaders, he believes, and has demonstrated numerous times, that helping his community and running wildly successful businesses are not mutually exclusive. Rather than simply donating money to the causes he believes in, he has set up a business model that turns his customers into benefactors of their own communities. Many of his businesses are built on a 1:1 giving model—buy one, give one.

He is the founder and president of Even Stevens, a sandwich shop with a cause that has become a force for sustainable change in Utah, Idaho and Arizona. For every sandwich sold, Even Stevens donates the value of a sandwich to a local nonprofit who in turn feed the hungry in their community.

Steve also founded The Falls Event Centers, innovative and state-of-the-art event facilities that are rapidly becoming the place to hold corporate gatherings, dream weddings, and community events. The company offers free access to facility space to local non–profits from their available inventory.

His company, Financially Fit, is an organization committed to helping families and individuals create wealth from any starting point. Together, Steve’s books, trainings, and mentoring systems have helped countless individuals treat the disease of financial illiteracy, not just the symptoms.
